In Dubai, there are a lot of nice buildings, fantastic architecture and amusing entertainments. As I know, now, Jumeirah beach is definitely on the list, the famous Wafi city is in Bur Dubai, usually, Royal family and rich people will go there for shopping or drinking or dining. The mall of Emirates is near the beach as well. There must be some other nice places that I did not discover yet. Arabians like to build up the biggest, the highest, the most attractive, the most luxurious... Whatever you think about, they can achieve. You can not imagine, those Arabians with the traditional dress, sit in the fashion-designed mall, restaurant or coffee shop, they drink, they smoke Schischa, they laugh.

 

In Dubai, everything is possible if it keeps quiet. The biggest religion is no wonter Muslin, but a lot of nice Catholic churches open as well. In ramadan ( holy month ) eating, drinking, smoking and sex is all phobiden during day. But some peopls will still hide to smoke and saying " I will be quick". There is a Muslin girl in my class, even gave us chocolate during the day.

 

The traffic in Dubai is horrible, even worse from Sharjah. But a lot of people still choose to live in Sharjah and spend 2 or 3 hours to come to Dubai, but if lucky, it is only 20 mins driving.  

 

Above 80% people here is from other countries, but they did not imfluence the city, and will not.
